Back when I wore glasses: This picture dates from New Year’s Day 2010, when my Type Two diabetes was yet unchecked, blood sugar rampant, and vision hazy. Since then (as I have documented), things have changed for the better. The glasses – unworn for months – are in their case atop a kitchen cabinet.
